Itinerary
Pick up Nairobi for Samburu

Equator Marker
You will be picked at Nairobi hotel or airport and depart for Samburu at 6.00 am. This will be a 6-hour
drive. There will be an en-route stopover to view Mount Kenya with its snow-capped peaks & equator Nanyuki.
Later arrive at the Samburu Sopa Lodge just in time for check-in and lunch. With an open roof
vehicle embark on your first game drive in the afternoon with a chance to spot the Grevy
zebras, reticulated giraffes, gerenuks, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich, elephants, lion, leopard,
and cheetahs.
Later in the evening, you'll drive back to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day in Samburu National Reserve

Samburu National Reserve
An early morning game drive before returning to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, you'll
have a full-day game drive with packed lunch boxes. This will be a full day of unlimited wildlife
viewing. Possible sightings of unique wildlife species like oryx, gerenuk, Gravy’s zebra, Somali
ostrich, and other wild animals peculiar to this semi-arid region.
Your game drives will be along the Ewaso Nyiro River where most of the wild animals are found.
You will also be able to watch different species of birds found in the reserve.
In the evening, enjoy a delightful dinner and spend another night at the camp, immersing
yourself in the enchanting ambiance of the reserve.
