This event will allow you to experience sumo up-close. Event is interactive. You will learn about sumo, and have a chance to get into the ring, ask a question, and take photos. We have small groups, so everybody can participate.

What To Expect

Learn about the rules, techniques and history of sumo, practice sumo exercises, get in the ring to challenge a former sumo wrestler! There will be lots of photo opportunities! Finish with a question and answer session, when you can ask your sumo-related question. Event is conducted in English. DOES NOT INCLUDE A TICKET TO THE SUMO TOURNAMENT.

Minimum age for children is 5 years old. Children must be registered and paid for the event.
