This tour is recommended for first-time visitors to Japanese shrines. We will start from Ueno and walk to Akihabara while visiting two shrines with a host.

Meet up at Hard Rock cafe at Ueno station. Then we will walk to Yushima shrine. You can write your wishes or prayers on Ema boards made by wood plaques. Next, we will visit Kanda shrine and we will walk to Akihabara station at the end. After that you will disband at Akihabara, you can go sightseeing directly to Akihabara! *If you wish to return to Ueno Station, your host will assist you with train or walking routes.

Also we will introduce you about shrine etiquette.

・We provide support for purchasing 'Goshuin' and 'Omikuji' *Goshuin: Special stamp *Omikuji: A fortune-telling slip This shrine is known as enshrining Sugawara no Michizane, a deity associated with academic success and learning. You can write your wishes or prayers on Ema boards which are wooden plaques. At Yushima Tenjin, you can obtain an ema board, write your academic or personal goals, and then hang it at the shrine for divine assistance.
