Mt. Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station
The 5th Station of Mt. Fuji is a popular starting point for climbers and tourists. This station is located at about 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level.
It offers amenities such as restrooms, shops, restaurants, and even lodging options. It's a great place to acclimate to the altitude before starting the climb.
Even if you don't plan to climb, the 5th Station provides stunning views of the surrounding areas, including the Japanese Alps and, on clear days, views of Tokyo and the Pacific Ocean.
For those climbing to the summit, this is a common starting point. From here, the ascent to the summit usually takes about 5-7 hours.
The Shuttle Service starts for Mt.Fuji 5th Station in 6th of July till 10th September every year during Hiking season. The Shuttle service fee ¥ 2500 Japanese ( $20USD ).
