What To Expect

We offer a hands-on ikebana class where you can learn the traditional art of ikebana. The centuries-old art of ikebana began with offerings of flowers before the Buddha and developed along with the samurai culture. Ikebana in the tokonoma (alcove) was once considered the highest form of hospitality. Experienced ikebana masters will explain the basics of ikebana, from how to use floral scissors and a kenzan to how to drain water, while you experience ikebana firsthand.
The activity takes approximately 60 minutes.
The number of people can be set from 1 to 20; for 21 or more, please contact us.
