Set against the backdrop of the market's picturesque ceiling, visitors are greeted with a variety of crafts and artifacts. From antique African artifacts and beadwork to basketry, jewelry, Kisii soapstone, and wooden carvings, the market showcases the immense talent and creativity of local artisans. Life-sized animal carvings are also on display, adding a touch of wonder to the vibrant atmosphere. The craft market is particularly popular among foreign visitors, and to facilitate their transactions, money changers have established their businesses within the market premises.
