Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca, is a geological treasure located just 170 kilometers southwest of Cusco, in the heart of the longest mountain range on the planet, the Peruvian Andes. This place, which seems to have been painted by nature itself, offers an explosion of colors that challenges the imagination and immerses us in an almost artistic beauty.
The road to Vinicunca is a trek that lasts between 4 and 6 hours, depending on the pace of the walk. For about 12 kilometers (round trip), we crossed impressive landscapes, observing the life of local shepherds and native fauna, such as llamas and alpacas.
