Just 11 kilometers away from the bustling city of Jaipur lies Amer, a place known for its majestic Amer fort.
This fort is a stunning example of Mughal architecture. Built on the Aravalli hills by Maharaja Man Singh I in 1592 AD, this fort is an impressive structure with intricate carvings and beautiful palaces. Inside the fort walls are four main courtyards that house many iconic buildings such as Diwan-e-Aam (Hall of Public Audience) and Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace).
