Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas The first place we will visit is the castle of San Felipe de Baraja which we will tour with the guide of its facilities, This is located on the hill of San Lázaro, the castle of San Felipe de Barajas is a military fortress built in 1657 during the Spanish colonial era to defend the territory by land. It is known as “the impregnable” because although it suffered several attacks by the enemies of the Spanish crown, it was never taken. It is part of the National Cultural Interest and in 1984 Unesco included the ‘Port, Fortresses and Monumental Complex of Cartagena de Indias’ in the representative list of World Historical and Cultural Heritage.

Palacio de La Inquisicion After dazzling in the castle of San Felipe we head to the second place which is the palace of the inquisition, it is one of the most important historical buildings in Colombia. This imposing palace was built in the 18th century as the headquarters of the Inquisition in the region, and today it has become a museum that offers a unique insight into the past of the Inquisition in Colombia. we will learn a little about the history of how the Catholic Church had great power and was determined to maintain the purity of the Catholic faith in the colonies. To achieve this, they created the Court of the Holy Office of the Inquisition, also known as the Inquisition, which was responsible for prosecuting and trying those accused of heresy and apostasy.

Museo del Oro Zenu After being filled with history and culture in the palace of the inquisition we walk to the gold museum, here you will know the different life systems in the savannas and the Caribbean coast, and the past and present adaptability of its inhabitants, amphibious beings that change existence in a natural cycle.
