On our Off The Beaten Track tour we set out to explore quieter corners of the city and pedal around hip local districts like El Born and Poblenou.

Poblenou is Barcelona's most bike-friendly district, with its network of bike lanes, quiet streets and even a number of car-free zones. It's also home to some of the Catalan capital's best architecture such as the iconic cucumber-shaped skyscraper, Torre Glories, amongst others.

Despite these modern additions to the barrio, Poblenou remains a remarkably local district with its own bustling rambla, scenic village squares, leafy parks and food markets to visit.

We'll also delve into the Old Town district with its narrow medieval streets, awe-inspiring Gothic churches and lively terraces, full of locals snacking on tapas and sipping on cervezas.

Our guides will introduce you to some of the city secrets, dusty treasures, street art and hidden corners, before taking a refreshment break at a local market, tapas bar or chiringuito (beach bar).
