Seoul - Gongju - Jeonju

Gongju Gongsanseong Fortress
This morning, we'll head to Gongju to explore Gongsanseong Fortress. During the Baekje period, Geumseo-ro's fortress walls, where the kings lived, are more beautiful than any other fortress walls in Korea. Walking along the fortress, you can see the entire downtown of Gongju at a glance. Recognizing its value, Gongsanseong Fortress was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015.

Songsan-ri Tombs and Royal Tomb of King Muryeong
Next, we'll visit the Tomb of King Muryeong. The site features ancient burial mounds and artifacts, offering visitors insights into Korea's history and culture during the Baekje period.

We'll also visit the Gongju National Museum, which houses over 10,000 cultural relics, including 19 National Treasures.

Jeonju - Jangseong - Gwangju

Our destination today is Jeonju Hanok Village with over 800 traditional Korea houses. The village is famous among tourists because of its atmosphere that strongly contrast with the modern city around it.

Choose your preferred Hanbok, Korean National Costume and make a special memory wearing Hanbok with your companions.

Gyeonggijeon Shrine
You will explore Gyeonggijeon Shrine which was erected in 1410 and holds the portrait of King Tae-jo, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty.

Baekyangsa Temple
Following that, we will proceed to Jangseong, where Baegyangsa Temple is situated within Naejangsan National Park. Upon arrival you will experience conversation over tea with a monk. The combination of the mountain and valleys
on both sides creates beautiful scenery. Nature reveals its beauty throughout all seasons here, especially through the red maple leaves in fall.

Boseong Green Tea Field Daehan Dawon
Kick off the morning by visiting Green Tea Plantation which produces high-quality green tea and is a popular tourist attraction year-round. You will have a chance to taste Boseong Green Tea Icecream!

Suncheon Bay Wetland Reserve
After a lunch break, we continue with visits to Suncheon Bay which is a coastal wetland with a 3.5 km stream, expansive tidelands, and vast reed fields. It’s a key habitat for migratory birds and wildlife, and was the first Korean coastal wetland listed as a Ramsar Wetland in 2006.
* Sunchonman Bay is closed on the last Monday of every month. Therefore, it will be replaced with Nak-an Fortress.

UN Memorial Cemetery
In the morning, we'll start our day with a visit to The United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Busan, the only UN cemetery in the world dedicated to honoring UN Command casualties from the Korean War. Spanning 14 hectares, it features 2,300 graves, organized by the nationalities of the fallen soldiers.
★ Western - End of Tour:
* 9 or fewer participants: Provided with KTX train tickets. After lunch with the tour guide, you will be dropped off at Busan station. (Estimated departure time, Busan Station 16:36 → 19:18 Seoul Station)
Service ends upon arrival at Seoul Station.
* 10 or more participants: Proceed by vehicle. After lunch with the tour guide, you will be driven back to Amid Hotel by our driver.
