Approaching Essaouira, there will be an optional stop to visit a women-run Argan cooperative: The Miracle Oil. Exclusively cultivated in Morocco, The Argan plantations are mainly run by local women. Watch live demonstrations of Berber women using their precious knowledge to harvest the Argan fruit offering a pure and organic oil at THE SOURCE. Arrived to Essaouira, you will meet your local friendly tour guide. Stroll through its labyrinthine old medina protected by 18th-century seafront ramparts, enjoy the exceptional sea breeze year round, see the fishermen at work at the bustling harbor, and enjoy the colorful houses and bohemian atmosphere. Feast on fresh grilled fish and sea food at one of the seafood stalls or restaurants. Relax, enjoy some free time before departing back to Marrakech late in the the afternoon.
