High Atlas Mountains
Depart from Marrakech in the early morning for the High Atlas Mountains. As you approach the twisting roads of the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, take in the breathtaking panoramic vistas and stop for photos at numerous overlooks. Continue to the historic and scenic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site noted for its old kasbahs and as the setting for countless films. After touring Ait Ben Haddou, travel to Ouarzazate, sometimes known as the "Gateway to the Sahara," to see the spectacular Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studios. In the afternoon, travel via the picturesque Valley of Roses to the Dades Gorge, where you will spend the night in a beautiful hotel set within the dramatic canyon.

Dades Gorge - Todra Gorge - Merzouga desert

Merzouga Desert
After a fresh breakfast, drive to the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where you may stroll along the towering canyon walls. Continue your journey to Merzouga, passing through typical Berber communities and the huge Sahara Desert. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, just in time for a spectacular camel trek across Erg Chebbi's golden dunes. As the sun sets, the colors in the desert change, producing a beautiful display. Spend the night at a typical Berber camp, where you can have a delicious dinner under the starry sky and soak in Berber hospitality, replete with music and storytelling around the campfire.

Merzouga desert - Back to Marrakech

Rise early to see the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, an outstanding sight. After breakfast, take a camel ride back to Merzouga, where your driver will be waiting. Begin your journey back to Marrakech by retracing your ways via the Moroccan desert and mountains. Stop along the way to stretch your legs, take photos, and enjoy the final minutes of your desert trip. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon or early evening, with plenty of time to reflect on the fantastic experiences made over your three-day desert excursion.
