What To Expect

About 20km outside Puerto Plata lies one of the best kept secrets in the Dominican Republic – the waterfalls of Damajagua. Take the plunge on this rip-roaring adventure featured by where you’ll jump, swim and slide down natural waterslides, helped along by your guide. A typical buffet lunch rounds off the action.

It all kicks off once you arrive at Damajagua Waterfalls, carved out of limestone in a lush forest setting – there’s nothing quite like it. You’ll slip through natural chutes and tunnels, jump into natural pools and conquer each of the 12 levels on the agenda, which get more and more daring the further you get.

Plenty of photo opportunities await, too, as you reach different natural pools and waterfalls such as ‘La Virgen’ and ‘La Tinajita’. After two and a half hours, you’ll emerge into one of the most beautiful falls where the adventure comes to a close. Boost your energy levels with a typical buffet lunch before returning to the resort.
