Christ Church is a significant building in Malacca. It was built by the Dutch after they took over from the Portuguese. The church is on Jalan Gereja, also called Church Street. It is brick-red with a white cross on top. Christ Church was built in 1753 to celebrate a hundred years of Dutch rule. Inside, there are 20-year-old handmade pews, decorative fanlights, and plaques honoring Dutch soldiers and locals.

St. Paul's Hill & Church (Bukit St. Paul) The ruins of St. Paul's Church are located on St. Paul's Hill. They were built by Portuguese captain Duarte Coelho on the site of the last Malaccan sultan's palace. Coelho built the church as a thank-you gesture for being saved by the Virgin Mary during a storm at sea. The church, now roofless and covered in ferns, was originally named Our Lady of the Annunciation. Despite being in ruins for over 150 years, it remains a serene sanctuary near the remains of A' Famosa Fort, accessible via a steep flight of stairs.

Melaka Straits Mosque The Malacca Straits Mosque is a beautiful mosque in Malaysia. It is also called Masjid Selat Melaka and is located on a busy and long strait. It is built on Pulau Melaka, a man-made island. When the tide is high, the mosque appears to be floating in the ocean. The opening ceremony was conducted by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail on 24 November 2006. The driveway scenery is stunning as you can see the entire coast of Malacca city.
