Paucartambo
We'll initiate your voyage from Cusco to Manú National Park, Peru, with an early morning pickup from your hotel. Aboard our private transport, we'll embark from the Andes towards the Amazon. Our journey first halts at the folklore-rich Andean town of Paucartambo, nestled 2906 meters (9534 ft) above sea level. At this location, you'll savor a traditional breakfast while our guide weaves tales of the town's enduring traditions and customs.

Tres Cruces
After breakfast, we'll progress on our journey, heading towards Tres Cruces or Acjano, the tour's pinnacle on the Manu National Park trip from Cusco, standing at an elevation of 3900 meters (12795 ft). From this vantage point, you'll witness the mesmerizing panorama of the expansive Amazon basin.

Manu National Park
Our next move will be to descend towards the Manu Cloud Forest, an area rich with a variety of flora and fauna, including lush orchid farms. Be vigilant for a glimpse of the Peruvian National Bird, the Andean cock of the rock, as well as the cappuccino monkey and wooly monkey.

Atalaya
Following a delightful native lunch, we'll escort you to Atalaya Port. This location serves as our starting point for a motorboat voyage on the Madre de Dios river heading towards Machuwasi Lake. During this journey, we'll encounter more wildlife, including the stately harpy eagle.

Manu National Park
Our journey includes a short pause at the lake, followed by a two-hour boat trip to our destination, the Manu Rainforest Lodge, enveloped by the Peruvian Amazon's heart.
Upon checking in, we'll serve you a native dinner. Post-dinner, if you're still energetic, we offer a brief night hike to observe some nocturnal wildlife.

Manu National Park
The second day at Manu National Park, Peru, commences with a tasty local breakfast. After your meal, we'll set sail on a peke peke, a boat recognized by its motor's distinct sound. Our voyage takes us along the Manu River, then up the Palotoa River.
The final destination is the Treehouse INN, hidden deep in the Manu Jungle. This picturesque boat trip offers breathtaking views of cloud forests and untouched lowland wilderness. Keep your eyes open for mammals and rodents such as the sizable Capybaras.

On arrival, the crew at the Treehouse INN will give you a warm welcome. This unique lodge is exclusively available to our guests. Once checked in, we'll commence our exploration of the adjacent jungle via a guided trail.
You'll come across giant trees, a variety of bird species, and local wildlife. Your guide will also enlighten you about the medicinal plants utilized by local inhabitants.
Following the hike, we'll serve lunch. Then, we'll delve deeper into the Manu Jungle, following a slightly lengthier trail. On this trek, anticipate sighting vibrant native birds like Macaws, parrots, hummingbirds, and woodpeckers.
After savoring a beautiful jungle sunset, we'll retreat to the lodge for dinner. If you're enthusiastic, we'll set off for a walk in the night. We'll spot nocturnal beings like howler monkeys, Kalinoski rats, pygmy owls, tarantulas, spiders, and even coral snakes.
The day concludes with a peaceful sleep in the Treehouse INN, serenaded by the Amazon Rainforest's sounds.

Macaw Clay Lick - Manu Jungle Tour - River Tubing

Manu
We'll commence before sunrise. We aim for the Parrots and Macaws Clay Lick, a standout experience in any Manu National Park journey.
Here, you'll observe hundreds of brilliant parrots and macaws gathering on the cliff to consume clay. This clay is rich in minerals, aiding these birds in purging toxins from their systems. Following this exceptional display, we'll make our way back to the Treehouse INN for breakfast.
After breakfast, another hike is on our agenda. We'll traverse a trail that winds around the local community, highlighting numerous medicinal plants. Throughout the tour, your guide will explain the functions of these plants.
As we proceed, we might encounter anteaters, sloths, and tapirs in their natural environment. We'll observe them while maintaining a safe distance.
We'll wrap up our morning filled with exploration and discoveries around noon. Then, we'll head back to the cozy ambiance of the lodge. A satisfying, hearty lunch will be ready for us there.

During the evening, you will have the opportunity to unwind and delight in some river tubing on the sparkling waters of the Palotoa River. After the sun sets, we will serve dinner. Atalaya
The fourth day will commence with breakfast at the Treehouse INN. Following this, we will board our boat and set sail back to the Atalaya pier. Upon arrival, our crew and private transportation will be ready to take you back to the city of Cusco.
