Casablanca - Pick up

Airport <-> Hotel Transfers - Casablanca The beginning of the 10 days desert tour from Casablanca will be from the airport, where we are going to pick up you and drive towards your hotel. If you still have time on this day, you will have the chance to visit the famous mosque in Morocco, Hassan II Mosque. It is located in the west coast of the city, overlooking to the Atlantic Ocean. A good sunset is recommended to see in there.

Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen

Hassan Tower After breakfast, we drive towards the current capital of Morocco Rabat, and one of the imperial cities of Morocco. You will visit: The Hassan tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and Finally The Kasbah of Oudaya. Free time for lunch. Then we head north through Ouazzane, to reach the Blue city of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains.

Chefchaouen Medina We will get to Chefchaouen, known as the "Blue City." where you will explore the narrow streets, blue-painted buildings, and vibrant markets of Chefchaouen. The city's history dates back to the 15th century when it was founded as a fortress by Moorish exiles from Spain. Over time, Chefchaouen developed into a vibrant cultural hub, attracting a diverse range of inhabitants, including Berbers, Arabs, and Jewish communities. Visit the famous Ras El-Ma, a picturesque waterfall where locals gather to do their laundry. Later you can hike the Spanish mosque to enjoy the sunset from above and enjoy the panoramic view of all Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen - The Roman ruins Volubilis - Fes

You will have a free morning to enjoy more the blue alleys of the blue city and take some pictures. Then, we start again crossing the Riff mountains towards the Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is well preserved, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there along with ancient pillars and archways. After exploring this archeological site, we start driving towards Fes for two overnights there.

Medina of Fez Our sightseeing tour will we start by visiting the Royal Palace golden gate. After that we go to visit the Jewish quarter also known as "the Mellah". Next, we drive to an ancient fortress for panoramic view of the Medina and the city of Fes. Next the well-preserved medieval Medina, that is listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. You will visit the blue gate or Bab Boujloud, the main entrance of the old Medina. You will enter the Medina to visit The Medrassa Bouanania, to see how old Islamic schools are designed and built. You discover the Najjarine Museum that is dedicated to showcasing traditional Moroccan arts and crafts, particularly those related to woodworking and carpentry. It serves as a tribute to the country's rich artisanal heritage. Also, you will visit the biggest Tanneries in Africa, where the locals make the leathers by hands. And finally, the Qaraouyine mosque and university, the oldest university in the world. You will have a free afternoon.

Fes - The Switzerland of Morocco - Cedar Forest - Ziz Valley - Merzouga

Azrou Cedar Forest After a warm breakfast, we drive south through Imouzzer to visit Ifrane. The city is considered as one of the cleanest cities in the world. It is also famous for its low temperature, snow and the alpine-style architecture houses. That is why it is called the Switzerland of Morocco. Then the tour continues to cedars forest of Azrou, where the Barbary monkeys or the macaques live. Feel free to feed them, while wandering in the forest.

Errachidia Next, we continue driving crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and pass by Midelt, where we will have a free time for lunch. Before reaching Merzouga, we will have a quick stop in the panoramic view of Ziz valley, an oasis of palm trees

Erg Chebbi In the afternoon, we reach the Sahara Desert of Erg Chebbi. Then you exchange the car by the camels, and cross the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi towards your camp. On the way your camel guide will stop in a good place where you can enjoy the sunset, one of the best sunsets you will see in your life. Finally, you continue to the desert camp. The camp is a combination between the traditional tents of nomads, and the luxury a hotel has. After a traditional dinner, you will gather with the locals to enjoy their Berber drums music, and dancing around the campfire, under vast open sky of stars.

4x4 Tour of the Sahara Desert

Erg Chebbi Wake up early in the morning is a must do, in order to relish the desert sunrise, in the middle of the desert. After a tasty breakfast in your camp. You will start the 4x4 tour of the region of Merzouga to see the main places of this region. We start our journey in Merzouga, by driving off-road to visit an ancient eyeliner mine. Beside this mine you will see an old French villages that used to be a military base.

Musica De Gnawa, Khamlia Then we go for a special visit to the nomads, in their handmade woven tent. We will have a Berber tea with them and try to learn about their daily life in the harsh environment. The next destination will be the Khamlia village. Its inhabitants are originating from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan and Niger. They were brought as slaves a long time ago but later they integrated with the Berbers and became the locals of this town. You will have the chance to enjoy their typical music that is called Gnaoua music, and dancing performances. Lunch in a local restaurant on this village.

Merzouga After that we drive towards Merzouga to your Riad. You will have a free afternoon. And one of the recommended activities you can do in the desert are the Atv Quads or Buggy ride in the sand dunes.

Merzouga - Rissani Souk - Todra Gorges - Dades valley

Souqs of Rissani Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise beside your camp in a high dune. After breakfast you drive few miles to Rissani or Sijlmassa the capital of Tafilalet to discover one of the oldest and tradional Souks. The market days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, attracting traders and buyers from nearby villages and towns. Rissani Market provides a unique opportunity to experience the traditional Moroccan souk and witness the lively exchange of goods and cultural interactions that have been a part of the region's history for centuries.

Gargantas del Todra Later pass by the Erfoud, a city famous of dates and fossils. After lunch, you will pass by a cooperative of Berber clothes, where you will have the chance to dress them and take pictures all this for free, and even they will make Moroccan Henna for you if you are interested for free. Next you go for a fabulous high canyon of 4 meters high and 10 meters wide called Todra Gorge. Have a walk inside this high cliffs.

Next you go to Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Morocco" due to its film studios and beautiful landscapes. In Ouarzazate you explore the Kasbah Taourirt, a kasbah that was constructed in the 19th century by the Glaoui family, who were influential figures in the region and held significant power during the French colonial era. The Glaoui family controlled the southern region of Morocco, including Ouarzazate, and Kasbah Taourirt served as their residence and stronghold. Also you visit Film Studios, known as Atlas Studios is one of the largest film studios in the world, covering an area of over 322,000 square meters (3.5 million square feet). Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou We will drive to Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit its famous and oldest kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997). Famous films have been shot in this spectacular place including Gladiator, Obelix, the Mummy, the Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz…etc free time to have lunch.

Koutoubia Mosque The Koutoubia Mosque, also spelled as Kutubiyya Mosque, is a prominent historical and architectural landmark located in Marrakech, Morocco. The most distinctive feature of the Koutoubia Mosque is its minaret, which stands at a height of 77 meters.
