GARDEN TOUR Set within 3,5 hectares (8 acres) of cultivated fruit and vegetables, the big garden at Babylonstoren is at the heart of the farm. It was inspired by the historic Company’s Garden in Cape Town, which supplied sailing ships of the Dutch East India Company with fresh vegetables and fruit during the days when the Cape was a halfway station between Europe and Asia. But we also link back to the mythological hanging gardens of Babylon. Those were thought to have been created by Nebuchadnezzar in the sixth century BC, for his wife who longed for the mountains and valleys of her youth. HAZENDAL WINE ESTATE  Stretched across the Bottelary Hills in the Stellenbosch winelands, just 30 minutes from Cape Town, Hazendal wine estate is a world-class destination offering culture, cuisine, golf and entertainment for the entire family.

What To Expect

1. A visit to Babylonstoren (Beautiful Garden Tour) 1 hour tour in a beautiful botanical garden
The is the only farm where you can pay to go in because of its uniqueness. Tourist visits from all over the world only to come and see one of a kind, state of the art garden. An hours guided tour will leave surprised.

2. A visit to Hazendal (Cellar Tour) A cellar tour with Wine Tasting and a light afternoon meal enjoy the best vineyard in and around Stellenbosch. With it's breathtaking Architecture which dates back to 300 years. A visit to the Cellar will be the best ever decision you can make. The Cellar your is one of a kind and I assure you it will not disappoint you. Come with me to their golden toilet and you will be surprised.
