Itinerary

Panorama Route

Three Rondavels Our Monday starts off with a brief of the upcoming tour in the Hotel Lobby of the Radisson Red hotel at 7 am. Our departure time is 8 am and by 8:15 we should be on the freeway towards The Panorama route. As we exit Johannesburg, we will then drive through South Africa's coal-producing areas. You will notice a few Coal Power Stations, that's because all our Power Stations are situated in the area. The Panorama Route tour will start from the Lowveld with the first visit of the 3 Rondavels, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Pilgrims Rest, and or either one of the waterfalls weather permitting.

Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park Wake up early to access the Kruger Park for our game drive and spend the rest of the day trailing the Ultimate BIG 5; Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard, and the Buffalo. Don't forget to bring your sunscreen and hats. We will depart the Kruger Park at 4 pm to get some much-needed rest at our beautiful accommodation called Casa de Sol or similar.

Eswatini

Yebo Contemporary Art Gallery Eswatini Depart early morning for Eswatini entry through Jeppe's Reef. With Swaziland being different than South Africa, there will be ample time to stop on the roadside and watch locals around their daily lifestyle.  Our next stop would be the Ngwenya Glass factory where the items are still made by hand. Time to do some glass shopping. Once done, we then proceed towards our accommodation which lies in the Milwane Wildlife Sanctuary, which is directly next to one of the King Mswati the third's royal palace.  In the evening you will be introduced to the Swazi culture through food, dance, and song. Get ready to sleep in your traditional Swati beehive hut.

Eswatini

Eswatini (Swaziland) Take an early morning stroll through the Wildlife Sanctuary looking out for wild animals like crocodiles, wild pigs, bucks, and birds. There's is plenty of wild fruit such as guavas and berries depending on the season. Spend the rest of the day in the Thermal Hotspring and visit one of the communities close by and the King's Palace, however without entry. You will spend your evening in a typical Swazi Beehive.

Isimangaliso Wetland Park

iSimangaliso Wetland Park After breakfast, we then head off towards South Africa's northern coastal town of St. Lucia. We will pass through the Golela border post and eventually drive through Pongola Nature Reserve. Be on the lookout for Elephants, Pumba, and all their friends as we drive through. After checking in we then head towards our boat for a beautiful sunset cruise on the Isimangaliso lake.

HluHluwe Game Reserve

Hluhluwe Game Reserve Depart early morning for HluHluwe game drive. HluHluwe is one of the most scenic game reserves in South Africa. It's well known for its African Elephant population and also the African Wild dog. Breakfast will be provided and lunch will be at the Hilltop restaurant or similar. This will be one unforgettable experience.

Durban City Tour

Durban Depart St Lucia for the historic city of Durban. Durban was discovered on Christmas day by the Portuguese and hence its name is Christmas in Portuguese. The city is also well known for its Indian population, having the biggest Indian population outside of India. They were brought as slaves to work the Sugarcane farms for the then British empire. The golden beaches are what Durban is known for, so take a stroll along the infamous north and South Beach and enjoy the smell of Oriental foods.

Drakensberg Amphitheater, Tugela Falls

Drakensberg Region Depart for the Drakensberg Amphitheater and enjoy the fresh air from the Drakensberg. We advance towards the Tugela falls, where hiking and climbing the infamous steel ladder is required. You will be rewarded with breathtaking views, fauna, and flora. You can either pick up some tennis rackets, play some golf or enjoy a drink at the poolside bar, If you are a photographer, take a stroll and capture the stunning views. Day at your leisure.

Drakensberg Mountain Hiking

Drakensberg Mountains As you awake on the footsteps of the Drakensberg. This beautiful day will allow you to hike up towards Sentinel Peak. Be prepared for mouthwatering views, freshwater streams, waterfalls, fauna, and flora. Whoever doesn't want to hike, can book a local operator to view or climb up to the Tugela Falls which are considered the highest waterfall in the world. Be sure to take the following items with you, Sunscreen, water, camera, waterproof clothing, and snacks. Also, note that the hike is weather permitting.

Malealea and Maluti Mountains (Lesotho)

Maluti Mountains Depart early morning for Lesotho. Pass the Drakensberg mountain range and travel through the rural parts of the Free State. Once we reach the border, we would do some shopping and get to know what life is like in Maseru. After lunch, we then head toward Malealea and the Maluti mountains. This would be our home for the next 2 days.

Horse Riding at Maluti Mountains (Lesotho)

Maluti Mountains To be awakened in the Maluti mountains by the sounds of nature is just the most relaxing wake-up call one can ask for. After breakfast, we then saddle up our horses and then take a half a day trek up the mountains to the waterfall. On our way back we then take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding areas whilst galloping through the streams and river ravines. Our host is then preparing a sumptuous meal together with a traditional Sotho dance and song.

The Big Hole - Kimberly

The Big Hole On the last day in Lesotho, we head straight for the border towards Kimberley. Kimberley was established after a worker on a farm discovered this beautiful shining stone. He then handed this beautiful stone over to his employee, who also didn't know what it was until a visitor saw the stone at the employee's house. Upon arrival the man immediately asked if he could take the stone for examination and from that day on everything else is history. We will be viewing The Big Hole of Kimberley overnight in one of the oldest cities in South Africa.

Last Day in Johannesburg

Johannesburg Depart on the last day towards Johannesburg. Once we arrive in Johannesburg we will have the opportunity to do some much-needed shopping. After the Shopping experience, we will then enjoy our last night out with some food, dance, and laughter. Everyone would then have a chance to exchange feelings, pictures, and memories. After supper, everybody would be dropped off and a shared farewell would be welcomed.
