Piazza San Marco
Join us on this 2-hour group tour of Florence’s Old Town and follow in the footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci, the greatest Renaissance man. We'll begin our tour in Piazza San Marco, where in his 20s Leonardo often worked in the garden whilst living with the Medici. Our Expert Guide will tell us stories about the da Vinci family and the influential connections they made after arriving in Florence.

We'll pass the famous Accademia Gallery and the Academy of Arts, and wander around the courtyard in front of Santissima Annunziata, where Leonardo stayed in 1500 as a guest of the Servite monks

In this neighborhood we’ll also discover 2 museums dedicated to da Vinci's art and engineering, the Riccardi Medici Palace of the Medici family, and the magnificent Florence Cathedral (Duomo), which was completed only 12 years before Leonardo came to the city.

The tour will be filled with interesting facts and legends about da Vinci's personal life and work. We'll see the Bargello Museum, where Leonado’s father worked as a notary, and Palazzo Vecchio, where da Vinci worked on decorating the great walls of the new Salone dei Cinquecento.

Piazza della Signoria
In Piazza della Signoria we can also find out what Leonardo thought about David, the famous sculpture by his rival Michelangelo. We'll learn about Florence as the city of great art, architecture and engineering. The guide will show us the statues of Leonardo da Vinci, Dante, Galileo and other great men in the Uffizi courtyard, and will also give us an insider’s tips and recommendations on visiting the Uffizi Gallery, which houses 2 works by da Vinci.
