You'll arrive to the park just before dusk, enjoy a delectable dinner, and then retire for the night. Start the day with a mouthwatering breakfast at the lodge, and then drive to the park headquarters with all of your luggage and trekking gear for a pre-trek briefing. The knowledgeable ranger guides will go over the dos and don'ts of trekking and then accompany them on an experience that will last anywhere from one to seven hours, depending on how far the golden monkey are foraging.
Expect to see golden monkey habitats, rare plant species like giant lobelia, birds, and more, among other things. After a successful visiting transfer to Bwindi national park of Uganda, you cross boarder through Chanika boarder. Reaching in the evening for dinner and overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla lodge.

Your gorilla trekking experience will begin in the morning with a heavy breakfast and then you will drive to the park headquarters where you will meet the Park ranger guide who will first take you through a briefing about the dos and don'ts while tracking and then he will lead you to the forest to trek for these endangered mountain gorillas.
Mountain gorilla trekking lasts from an hour to 8 hours depending on where the gorilla family will be spotted because they keep moving to look for food.
