Telaga Waja River
Begin your day with an early morning pick-up from your Bali hotel and a short drive to the Telaga Waja River to begin your white water rafting excursion. After a safety briefing, get suited up in your wetsuit, life jacket and helmet, and learn the basic manoeuvres under the guidance of your instructor before heading out. Then, set out on a thrilling 1.5- to 2-hour rafting adventure, cruising down an 8km (5 mile) stretch of the Telaga Waja River. Work together with your team to paddle downstream, tackle the hair-raising rapids and navigate rocky outcrops, and soak up the magnificent scenery as you pass dramatic gorges and hidden waterfalls. Back on dry land, warm up with a hot shower and get changed, before sitting down for lunch. Tuck into a hearty buffet lunch including local specialties such as black rice pudding, corn soup, satay, and gado gado, as well as steamed rice, fried noodles, salads, and fresh fruit. After lunch, you’ll be taken back to your hotel. Please note: All equipment is provided, but you will need to bring a swimsuit to wear under your wetsuit and a towel.
