Once you pass the checkpoint and the Urubamba River, we will begin our 4-day trek to Machu Picchu. The first 2 hours of the trail are relatively flat. In this beautiful valley, we will walk among agricultural fields of potatoes, corn, barley and others, always in the company of the Sacred River of Urubamba and the imposing Veronica Glacier.

We will wake you up very early for a nutritious and delicious start to walk the second day tour early in the morning to take advantage of the cool hours of the morning and the shade of the mountains. That way, it will be convenient to walk to the first pass of the Warmi Huañusca Inca Trail (Dead Woman's Pass 4,215 m / 13,829 ft) and consequently the highest point of the 4-day Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu. The dead woman's pass seals the difficulty of the Inca Trail, but the prize is that we will definitely see the various ecological zones of the Inca Trail and notice the microclimates that make up the area in front of us. And once we reach the top, we will be able to see the snowy mountains, the Andean Alps and the high jagged and dark mountains that surround us. Once the rest time and photographs are finished, we will start the march towards the Pacaymayo Camp at 3600 m. / 11 800 our lunch place.

This place is good for a small ceremony and leaving an offering to the mountains and to our Mother Earth.
Later, we will descend for 1 hour to the archaeological site of Sayacmarca, we will stop here to discover the secrets of this ancient site in the company of our guide. The mysteries of the Incas will be revealed, little by little, as the sun goes down and reddens the Vilcabamba mountain range.
After 25 minutes we arrive at our second camp at Chaquicocha (3,600 m / 11,811 ft). After dinner, we will be able to observe the stars and appreciate the fascinating constellations of the Andean sky.
