We are going to cycle to the port of Piraeus where the ferries for Aegina depart from.
Next, we’ll be on the ferry for about 1.5 hours. Once we arrive the island we will start cycling by the sea and reach the ancient Temple of Apollo.
Cycling the North coastline we're going through Souvala, the second port of Aegina and continue towards Vagia. There we're going to leave the sea behind us and we will climb the hill which leads to the temple of Aphaia, a must-see archeological site.
Cycling down towards Agia Marina comes next and it'll take us to a wonderful beach of sand and green waters. This is where we're going to take a small break and relax inside a beautiful natural environment, swim and chill at the beach.
Next we’re going uphill for a bit and through the beautiful pine forest of Aegina. We’ll reach the big Monastery of Agios Nektarios and that's where our return will start.
At the Port of Aegina our ride will be over and if you feel hungry we can enjoy a quick bite by the sea until it's time to get on the ferry and leave for Piraeus.
When we arrive at Piraeus, we cycle back to the starting point where our bike tour ends.
