The camels are typically well-trained and gentle, perfect for both beginners and seasoned riders. Camel Ride: You’ll set off on your camel ride across the rocky desert landscape. While not a traditional sand dune desert like the Sahara, Agafay still offers a stunning, otherworldly atmosphere, with its barren beauty and unique, dry terrain. As you ride, your guide will share insights into the area’s history and ecology. The camp is often set up with Berber-style tents, low cushions, and lanterns to create an authentic atmosphere. Traditional Moroccan Meal: You can enjoy a hearty, flavorful dinner featuring a mix of Moroccan specialties such as tagine (a slow-cooked stew with meat and vegetables), couscous, grilled meats, salads, and fresh bread. Traditional mint tea may also be served. Entertainment: Some tours include live entertainment, such as Berber music, drumming, or even a fire show, enhancing the cultural experience of the evening.
