Unlike typical activities offered by large companies that take you to generic tourist sites in big groups, we strive to provide you with an authentic experience in a real Mayan community. A Chaman guides you through a traditional Temazcal ceremony, honoring ancient customs. During the ceremony, you enjoy live music, uplifting mantras, and the enchanting aroma of natural spices infused in the steam, enhancing your overall experience.
Our visit to a cenote takes you to a hidden gem deep in the jungle, away from commercial spots. This secluded location allows us to fully appreciate Mother Nature, giving you the feeling of exploring the ancient underworld.
Finally, we visit a local Mayan family who share their rich traditions with us. They prepare an entirely organic meal while explaining each ingredient. You also have the opportunity to learn how to make homemade tortillas and savor a delicious local meal accompanied by freshly prepared chaya water (refilled).

A temazcal is a unique experience that connects you deeply with Mother Earth while cleansing your spirit and mind. It is a journey toward achieving "a healthy mind in a healthy body."
During this experience, you will have the opportunity to express your emotions and release your inner feelings. This process can help you build a new sense of self, renew your energy, and become more empowered.
A shaman guides you into this spiritual journey by heating the dome with hot stones, referred to as "grandmothers." He then pours medicinal plant water over the stones, creating natural steam. This process aids in the elimination of toxins and the regeneration of your cells.
Duration: 2 hours

A cenote is a term unique to Mexico, derived from the Mayan word "dzonot," which means "abyss." In Mayan culture, cenotes were regarded as sources of life. They not only provided essential water but were also seen as gateways to another world and centers for connecting with the gods.
Similar to the traditional sauna experience, where we take a cold shower afterwards, in the Temazcal experience, we go and jump into a cenote. The impact of the cold water after the hot steam helps to improve blood circulation.
Duration: 45 minutes
