What To Expect
The tour will take approximately two hours depending on your pace. Just pause the audio guide whenever you fancy spending longer at a sight, grabbing a bite to eat or doing some shopping along the way. Make your way to the White House to begin your tour. Here are just a few of the great sights of
Washington.
Highlight One: The iconic White House, home to the president of the United States for hundreds of years, is one of the most easily recognisable buildings in the entire world.
Highlight Two: The star attraction of the National Museum of American History is the original Star Spangled Banner which inspired Francis Scott Key to write the poem that became the words of the American national anthem.
Highlight Three: The National Museum of Natural History's collections contain over 145 million specimens of plants, animals, fossils, minerals, rocks, meteorites, human remains, and human cultural artefacts, the largest natural history collection in the world.
Highlight Four: The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum houses the world’s largest collection of space and aviation artefacts. There's a lot to see and do.
