Constitution Hill Human Rights Precinct After pick-ups, we make our way to Constitutional Hill in Braamfontein for a guided tour of this iconic institution. Constitution Hill is a living museum that tells the story of South Africa’s journey to democracy. The site is a former prison and military fort that bears testament to South Africa’s turbulent past. Today, it’s home to the country’s Constitutional Court which endorses the rights of all citizens

We cross over the striking Mandela Bridge on our way into Newtown. Named in honour of Nelson Mandela, the 284-metre long bridge is the largest cable-stayed bridge in South Africa and links two significant business districts. The Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown, Johannesburg in South Africa is a public space named after Mary "Pickhandle" Fitzgerald, who is considered to have been the first female trade unionist in the country.

Carlton Centre We get out in downtown Johannesburg and take a lift up to the top of the impressive Carlton Centre. The 50-storey, 223-metre tall skyscraper and shopping centre is the second- tallest building in Africa. From the ‘Top of Africa’, you have a panoramic view of the city of Johannesburg and the northern suburbs. After an exciting morning or afternoon in Jozi, your guide drives you back to your accommodation in Johannesburg.
