Monchique View majestic Monchique mountain range from altitude. A 360º, 3D view and well known for its thermal waters with healing powers. A dissected igneous rock (syenite) massif, its highest point is Foia (2,960 ft [902 m]). The range is famous for its wild and generally varied plant life, as well as for its spas with medicinal waters (Caldas de Monchique). The area is known for its production of honey and medronho (arbutus brandy). It is a fresh air haven where you can relax and wander in peace.
