Arrival in Lima - City Tour

Lima Pick up from Lima airport – hotel. At 12:30, enjoy a city tour that lasts approximately four hours. The exploration begins with a visit to Plaza San Martín, Jirón de la Unión Boulevard, Plaza de Armas, Monastery of San Francisco, famous for its Spanish Baroque architecture. Delve into the depths of history as you discover the Catacombs, Lima’s first cemetery, hidden beneath the monastery floors. He finally returned to his hotel.

Lima - Paracas - Ballestas Islands - Paracas Reserve - Ica - Huacachina Sandboarding

Paracas National Reserve We start at 3:30 am as we pick you up from your hotel for a trip to Paracas. A day of maritime exploration and desert adventure, as you travel from Paracas to Ica. We start the day with a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, one of Peru’s wonders, which is a trio of small islands teeming with wildlife just minutes from the coast. They are home to a wide variety of seabirds, such as Humboldt penguins, pelicans, terns, Peruvian boobies, red-footed cormorants and guanayes; at the culmination we discover the picturesque beauty of the Huacachina Oasis, surrounded by imposing sand dunes, and an exciting buggy ride, as well as sandboarding. Flight to the Nazca - Arequipa Lines

Nasca Lines After breakfast, our team transfers you to the airfield located in Nazca; for a 30-minute flight over the incredible Nazca Lines; at the culmination we have some free time to rest and then embark on an all-night trip that will take you to the city of Arequipa.

Start in the heart of Arequipa, the Plaza de Armas, surrounded by majestic architecture that chronicles the historical past of the city, enter the Cathedral, an example of Spanish colonial architecture, reflecting centuries of history, the Church of the Company, a masterpiece that combines Baroque and mixed-race styles, revealing the cultural fusion of Arequipa, the ancient Jesuit temple, a shrine full of prayers and devotion, exhibiting intricate crafts and religious artifacts. In the afternoon, relax, the night is yours to rest or continue exploring the charm of Arequipa!

Colca Canyon - "Cross of the Condor/Cruise Condor" - Arequipa - Puno

Colca Canyon Very early we headed to the “Cross of the Condor”, a strategic point to witness the majestic flight of the largest bird in the world in the morning sky “the condor”. Explore charming villages such as Yanque, Coporaque, Achoma and Maca located in the Colca Valley, each reflecting traditional Andean life. Admire colonial churches, interact with locals and immerse yourself in cultural wealth. Then we moved to Puno, where we spent the night.

Puno - Tours to Lake Titicaca, Floating Islands of the Uros and Taquile - Arrival in Cusco

Puno Today you can enjoy an incredible boat trip to the world’s highest navigable lake, Lake Titicaca, to see the floating islands of the Uros and Taquile. The floating islands of the Uros Indians are made by tying totora rods and are one of Peru’s treasures and a must-see for any traveler. Uros consider themselves Lake Lords; they hunt wild birds and maintain traditional fishing methods. Taquile is a very important site known for its archaeological remains, sacred and ceremonial sites and festivities, the island is characterized by its friendly inhabitants, who maintain the customs and traditional dress of their ancestors, there are many fine handmade wool products for sale. Return to Puno in the evening.

Valle Sur (Route of the Sun) - Cusco

Parque Arqueologico De Raqchi We will pick you up from your accommodation at 7:00 am and start our journey to Cusco by the Ruta del Sol or Valle Sur. Along the way, we will witness mountains, grazing pampas, alpacas, llamas and ancient monuments such as Pucará, Raqchi, Andahuaylillas and Piquillacta. After a long journey we will arrive in Cusco.

Cusco City Tour

Cusco Pick up from the hotel for the tour: 04 hours. Guided visit to the Santo Domingo and Qoricancha convent, then visit the Inca archaeological remains located just outside the city of Cusco “Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay”. Return to Cusco.

VIP Sacred Valley

Sacred Valley As the first place to visit we will have the colonial city of Chinchero, where we will visit an artisan shop in the city center, the archaeological remains and the square for about 1.5 hours before heading towards our second archaeological zone located in the village of Maras, Moray and then Salineras (salt mine) for about 2 hours. Continuing with the tour, we will head to Urubamba where you can enjoy an exquisite buffet lunch for approximately 30 minutes, after a short break we head towards the Fortress of Ollantaytambo to discover its impressive Temple of the Sun this tour will last approximately 1 hour. Finally we will have Pisac, an incredible Inca city with beautiful temples, palaces and well-preserved terraces built on the edge of precipices that still preserve their straight aqueducts. At the end we return to Cusco, arrival approximately 7:30PM.

Cusco - Mountain of colors Vinicunca

Vinicunca Mountain Pick up from your hotel around 4:30 AM – 5:00 AM, we will head south to the village of Urcos to the Czechocupe district (2 hours by bus), then to Pitumarca where we have breakfast. Then we pass through small villages until we reach the community of Hanchipata – Quesiuno (1 hour and 20 minutes by bus), ideal starting point to start with the hike to Vinicunca (Mountain Rainbow) will last approximately 3 hours. Return, lunch in Pitumarca and then return to the city of Cusco.

Cusco – Humantay Lagoon – Salkantaypampa Base Camp (16km approx 7 hrs)

Humantay Lake Pick up early from your hotel, enjoy breakfast in Mollepata and then start your hike in Soraypampa (3850 meters above sea level), where we will meet our muleteers and horses, who will take all the camping equipment and begin our hike to the Humantay lagoon (4200 meters above sea level). After the visit to the Humantay Lagoon, we will return to Soraypampa to start the hike to our Salkantaypampa base camp where our cooks wait for you with a delicious lunch. At this place we can enjoy the beautiful views of the snowy Salkantay, and enjoy an afternoon tea and a delicious dinner.

Camp Salkantay Pampa - Chaullay (18km approx 7 hrs)

Salkantay Trail Wake up to a cup of coke mate and enjoy breakfast with fantastic views of the mountains. Then reach the highest point of Salkantay Pass at 4600 masl in 3 hours. From there we will walk to Wayrac Machaq, for lunch. We will continue to the high jungle, where we will observe large trees with their arms outstretched over the streams, all full of bromeliads and orchids. And descent to the 2nd campsite.

Chaullay – Lucmabamba (16km approx 6hrs)

Get up early and have breakfast; we start a hike through the cloud forest for 3 hours. See the fantastic landscape of rivers and waterfalls; after lunch, 3 hours later you will arrive at the Lucmabamba campsite, where you can enjoy various activities on the coffee plantations. * If you wish, you can go to the hot springs of Cocalmayo which are 30 minutes from our camp (not including transportation or extra tickets). Indicate in advance to organize this extra activity.

Lucmabamba - Llactapata – Hydroelectric - Aguas Calientes (14 km approx 6hrs)

Mirador de Llactapata Wake up with an excellent breakfast and start the walk to Llactapata from where you can have an excellent view of the landscape and Machu Picchu, then walk downhill to Hydroelectric for lunch and continue walking another 3 hours to Aguas Calientes. You'll spend it in a hotel tonight.

Machu Picchu – Cusco

Machu Picchu After breakfast, we head towards the citadel of Machu Picchu where we will have a guided tour of the different sectors around 2 hours, then a short time to enjoy the citadel before descending by bus to Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Ollantaytambo, then to Cusco. Note: If you want to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, you must book at least three months in advance, due to limited availability. This activity is optional (US $70.00).

GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCE

Cusco In the morning we will enjoy a gastronomic experience, where you can prepare a typical Peruvian dish in the company of one of our chefs, who will teach you how to make it, as well as the inputs you will use. In the evening you will have an interprovincial tourist bus that will take you to Puerto Maldonado, our next point of visit.

Tambopata Amazon Mount

Tambopata National Reserve Pick up at ground terminal and transfer to the Monte Amazónico Lodge office for records. Transfer to the port where we will take the boat for one hour, to our hostel. After a restful break, you will have as an introduction a two-hour walk in the dense tropical forest, with an expert local guide, who will take you along our paths and you will be able to appreciate variety of trees, as well as you will be able to observe: toucans, oropéndolas, macaws, monkeys, snakes, butterflies, etc. After lunch we will visit the “monkey island”, located in front of the Lodge across the Madre de Dios River where we will find different species such as capuchin monkeys that inhabit the island and return to the Lodge. At night we will go out in search of white alligators that are usually found on sandbanks, in the Mother of God River for which it will be necessary to carry a flashlight. In addition, we can see the carpincho, return to the hostel, dinner and rest.

Tambopata National Reserve - Puerto Maldonado

Puerto Maldonado After breakfast we will walk 3 km in the middle of the dense rainforest and head towards Lake Sandoval (inhabited by piranhas) one of the largest in the Tambopata National Reserve and paddle where we will appreciate a wide variety of birds and monkeys of different species: shansho, cormorant, jacanas, heron cougar, hens, cotomono, friar monkey, black male, pichicos and sloths. Perhaps we will have an encounter with the family of the giant otter (almost two meters long) that is endangered and the largest alligators on record at more than 4 meters long, return to the Lodge to enjoy the typical lunch. In the afternoon we will return to the city, transfer to the bus station or airport according to your return.
