Parco Archeologico di Ostia Antica Once we arrive at the site, we will enter through the main gates and find a small, picturesque Necropolis, a final resting place for the rich and famous Romans who lived there. From here we will continue down the main road encountering all aspects of Rome life including: the beautiful bath houses and their well preserved mosaics, a 3,000 seat theatre, luxury villas, everyday shops and markets, and even some public bathrooms. As you wind your way through the streets, you’ll really get a sense of how the ancient Romans really went about their day to day lives.
