Stellenbosch

One of the oldest settlements in South Africa first established as a farming community in 1687. Now a major wine producing region of the Western Cape Province.
There is the Afrikaans Language Monument which is one of the major attractions besides visiting the wineries for wine tasting. Paarl is also home to Paarl Rock - one of the two biggest single rock outcrop in the world. The other being the Uluru rock in the central Northern parts of Australia.
There are currently some 560 wineries and this is also home to Nederberg Wine Estate the first ever winery to introduce wine auctioning every year in the world.

Franschhoek

An almost 4 km long tunnel built under the Du Toitskloof mountains providing a route that is shorter (by 11 km) and faster. This tunnel was constructed by Italian prisoners of war among others.
Work began in 1942 and 1945 because of the World War 1. In 1984 work began ending in March 1988. This tunnel takes you through to an amazing valley with dramatic mountains on both side of the freeway. It takes you to Worcester one of the best wine regions close to Cape Town.

Worcester
Another wine region along the scenic drive to Aquila located about 120 km from Cape Town.This wine region is best known for its magnificent Cathedral but is also know famous for the world renowned Worcester Porcelain.
Here is also home to piquant Worcestershire Sauce and the most picturesque cricket ground in the country. All this is besides its magnificent wine producing valley.

De Doorns
A very small town in the Breed Valley Local Municipality along the freeway to Aquila. This attractive town nestled in a valley is only 7 km from Worcester and after this place you get to Hex Valley.
Hex Valley is also another wine region in the Western Cape Province which produces top quality grapes for export market only.

Arrive to a warm welcome of a glass of wine before being ushered in for registration. After registration you are spoiled with a buffet breakfast before you go on a safari drive which could be up to 3 hours.
The safari is conducted by qualified and highly experienced rangers who will provide you with all the necessary information about the wild animals and the landscape. There are stops when ever you encounter some of the animals to afford travelers photo opportunities.
There is also a 30 minute break where you stretch your legs and have a glass of wine.After safari return back to a hearty buffet lunch. You then take a dip in the swimming pool if you so wish before heading back to Cape Town via one winery for wine tasting.
The drive back to Cape Town is 2 hours where you will be dropped at your hotel after a fun and adventure filled day.
