Day 1: Jaipur city sightseeing

Amber Palace Meet your guide and driver in your hotel and drive to visit Amer Fort (a world heritage site) built by Hindu Rajput kings in 16th century. the fort has beautiful blend of Hindu and Mogul architecture. fort is located 6 kilometers away from Jaipur city in Amer town on Jaipur delhi highway. Amer fort is divided in four different courtyards built by different kings. It took over 100 years to built this fort. and the fort is famous for its famous mirror palace where all the wall and ceilings are adorned with mirrors from belgium. also you will see beautiful frescoes paintings and inlaid work on white marble.

Panna Meena ka Kund Just few minutes away from Amer Fort visit "Panna Meena ka kund" popularly known as stepwell built in 16th century. this was a place for religious gathering and famous for its artistic design of steps and situated in the Amer town.

Jal Mahal After the tour of Amer fort and Panna meena ka kund you will drive towards Jaipur where on the way you will stop at Jal Mahal. Jal Mahal is hindi name for Water Palace built in the middle of water in 1799 AD this palace is 3 kilometers away from Amer fort on the way to Jaipur. This palace was used by kings of Jaipur as a summer house during the hot summers. the only way to go inside the palace was by boat. this palace is not open for tourists but still you will be able to stop at this place to take some nice pictures

City Palace of Jaipur After Photo Stop at Water Palace visit a wonderful Palace inside the pink city know as City Palace which a house of royal family of Jaipur city in year 1959 a huge part of the palace was converted in to a museum where you will see Diwan-I-Aam (Hall of public audiance, Diwan-I-Khaas (Hall of Private audiance, Mubarak Mahal or textile gallary, arms and weapons gallary, pritam niwas, peacock gate, also see persian hand knotted carpets, silver thrown of the king, crystal chandelier form Yugoslavia, frescos paintings on the walls and ceillings, a private photo gallary, largest silver "urns" in the world as listed in the guinness book of world record. Jantar Mantar - Jaipur Just wanlk to the another world heritage site Janrar-Mantar from city palace also known as observetory built in early 18th century. This observatory has astrological and astronomical instruments to observe the movemnt of diffrent stars and planets. learn how in olden days people used to see time by sundials, also horoscope was being made using other instruments. Vrihad Samrat Yantra is the largest sun dial in this observatory and Jai Prakash Yantra is the most intresting instument among all Drive back to hotel.

Day 2: Jaipur city sightseeing

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind Meet your guide and driver in the morning to visit other beautiful sights of Jaipur first stop at Hawa Mahal to take photos. Hawa Mahal or Palace of Wind is an iconic landmark in the city built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. One of the unique features of this five-storied structure is that it is adorned with no less than 953 small windows. The lattice of windows in this pyramidal structure enables breeze to blow into the inner chambers. As such, the interiors of the Hawa Mahal have a cooling effect even while it is sweltering hot outside.

Jaigarh Fort Nestled atop the Cheel ka Teela or the Hill of Eagles, Jaigarh Fort is one of the most fascinating places to visit in Jaipur. The majestic fort boasts of lavish palaces with courtrooms, triple arch gateways, temples, gardens, armory chamber, and a central watch tower that offers brilliant views of the surrounding landscape. The main attraction of this fort is the Jaivana cannon. It was once the largest cannon on wheels in the whole world. Even today, it stands with pride inside the Jaigarh Fort.

Nahargarh Fort Nahargarh Fort has been standing guard over the city of Jaipur for almost three hundred years now. It was once a part of Jaipur’s incredible defense ring, along with the Jaigarh Fort and the Amer Fort. The royal family of Jaipur used this fort as a hunting retreat. The fortification walls of Nahargarh fort extended those of the Jaigarh Fort, thus connecting the two forts. A visit to Nahargarh will also allow you to enjoy wonderful views of Jaipur city.

Royal Gaitor Tumbas Royal Gaitor Tumba is the cremation site of the Maharajas of Rajasthan. The site is located in at the foothills of Nahargarh Fort. Royal cenotaphs are built over the cremation site that is a perfect blend of Islamic and Hindu architecture. The carving on each cenotaph is a reflection of the taste of the respective Maharajas.The cenotaph of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II stands out and is made of white marble with intricate carvings on it.Unlike the other tourist destinations in Jaipur, Royal Gaitor Tumbas is not crowded and is the best place to relax with friends and family. evening is free for leisure also you can go and enjoy soem local markets of Jaipur to see textiles, handicrafts, carpets, paintings etc. Drive back to hotel with lots of nice memories.
