What To Expect

This immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to attend a workshop at the home of renowned Meenakari artist Jaswant Meenakar, providing a rare glimpse into the world of Meenakari craftsmanship. Under the expert guidance of the artist, you'll have a hands-on chance to learn the intricate process of creating Meenakari jewellery. During the session, you'll work on shared pendant bases, and each participant will receive a ready-made pendant as a souvenir to take home. If you're staying in Jaipur a bit longer, arrangements can be made for Meenakar to complete your pendant, allowing you to take home a personally crafted piece. Additionally, you can browse the artist’s exclusive jewellery collection and purchase any pieces that catch your eye. To ensure a fully immersive experience, bilingual assistance in both English and Hindi is provided, with translators available upon request for a more accessible session.

Note: The Meenakari process takes 3 days to complete. During the workshop, you will practice on a shared basis receive a completed pendant to take home. If your stay in Jaipur allows, your practised piece can be custom-finished by the artist and delivered to you.
