Ouarzazate
After lunch, we will continue our journey towards Ouarzazate, also known as the "Hollywood of Morocco." This city is famous for being a filming location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones due to its vast desert landscapes and ancient kasbahs. Our first stop will be the impressive Kasbah Taourirt, a historical fortress with high towers and intricate designs. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was once the home of the Glaoui family, influential leaders of southern Morocco. After exploring the kasbah, we’ll also have time to visit the Atlas Film Studios, where many iconic Hollywood films were shot. Here, you can step into the world of movie sets, and take photos amidst the famous desert landscapes and props from various blockbuster films. We’ll check into a charming riad in Ouarzazate, where you can unwind and relax. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
