This 18th-century structure was the former house of VOC Governor General Reinier de Klerk. There were proposals to demolish it and replace it with stores around 1900. The Bataviaasch Genootschap van Kunsten en Wetenschappen, which de Klerk created, intervened to save him. Genootschap, for example, provided furnishings that may still seen in the building. This structure was utilized by the Dutch East Indies colonial government's Mining department until 1925. Later, the location was utilized as the Lands archive ("state archive"). After the Republic of Indonesia's independence, it became the building of the national archives.

Mandiri Museum Bank Mandiri Museum is the corporate museum of the eponymous Bank Mandiri, located in Jakarta Old Town in northern Jakarta, Indonesia. The museum is located in the old headquarters of the Netherlands Trading Society, one of ABN AMRO's key ancestors. Mondays and public holidays are off-limits to visitors. It is situated in front of Jakarta Kota Station, close to Museum Bank Indonesia.
