Heraklion
Sample itinerary : Heraklion is the administrative center of Crete, the heart of wine and olive production, and the seat of the ancient Minoan civilization, one of the first in the world. The tour will kick off with a visit at the traditional village of Archanes, nested in the middle of the Cretan wine country, with a history going back 5,000 years. In the village of Thrapsano we’ll learn how Cretans have evolved the art of pottery over the centuries.
You can have lunch in any number of amazing (and delicious!) choices in the villages we pass along the way, at your own expense.
