Meru is known for the Black and White Rhinoceros of the swamp. The famous conservationists Joy and George Adamson used to leave here. They introduced the Lioness called 'Elsa' into nature. Due to her passion to environment, she received a World Medal 'Greenfell Gold'. Wrote her book ' Living Free and Forever Free´´.

NAIROBI / SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE.

Samburu National Reserve After breakfast drive with our Guide to the North. Pass through the agricultural region of Mangoes, Pineapples, Avocados, Coffee, Roses, Wheat and Tea. Cross the Line of Equator and start climbing Mount Kenya up to to a height of 3000 Meters. Then descend to Samburu which has an altitude of 800 meters. Arrive for check in and lunch at Samburu Ashnil Camp. At 1530hrs leave for the first game drive in search of Oryx, giraffe antelope, Lions. Look for the beautiful Sunset with Palm Trees. Return to the Camp at 1830hrs.

FULL DAY SAFARI IN SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE.

Samburu National Reserve You have a full day game drive with picnic lunch. Samburu is famous for its unique big five; Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy Zebra, Gerenuk, Oryx and Somali Ostrich. Look for the Great Elephants Migration of Crossing Brown River. look for lions, Cheetahs y Leopards. Visit the Buffalo Springs. In 2002 we had a Lioness which had adapted a young one of Oryx. The Famous Film ' Born Free' was done here. Watch the beautiful Sunset. Be back to the Camp at 1800hrs.

Meru National Park Have an early game drive when the animals such as Lion, Cheetah and Leopard are active. Look for the beautiful Sunrise with Shrubby Hills. Return for breakfast and leave for Meru National park. Arrive for check in and lunch at Ikweta Safari Camp. Have game drive in the afternoon in search of lions, Hippopotamus, Somali Ostrich and Elephants. Look for the beautiful Sunset with Baobab Tree. Return to the Camp at 1830hrs.
