Itinerary
Cusco - Piskacucho Km 82 - Llactapata- Ayapata

Cusco
We will pick you up in Cusco, Urubamba, or Ollantaytambo, with times confirmed at the briefing. After breakfast in Ollantaytambo, you’ll meet the porter team and drive to Km 82 to start the Inca Trail.
Bring your passport for the checkpoint. The trek begins with a 2-hour hike to Patallacta, followed by another 2-hour hike to the lunch stop. After lunch, you’ll hike 2½ hours to the first campsite at Ayapata (3300m), passing small communities for snacks or essentials. Dinner is served at 7:30 PM, followed by rest.

Dead Woman´s Pass - Runcuraccay Pass - Chaquiccocha

Inca Trail
Your porters will wake you early with coca tea for the trek’s longest day. A 4-hour hike takes you to Dead Woman’s Pass (4215m), followed by a descent to Pacaymayu Valley for lunch. Afterward, a 2-hour ascent leads to the second pass and the Inca site Runcu Raccay, with views of waterfalls.
Descending an hour, you’ll visit Sayacmarca and enjoy a sunset over the Vilcabamba range. After a short hike, you’ll reach the Chaquicocha campsite (3600m) for dinner and optional stargazing under the stunning Southern Hemisphere sky.

Inca Trail
Day 3 begins at 6:30 AM with a 2-hour "Inca flat" hike into the Cloud Forest, offering views of Salkantay and the Vilcabamba range. After reaching Phuyupatamarka (3600m), enjoy panoramic views of the Urubamba River and a glimpse of Machu Picchu Mountain. A 3-hour descent with stops at Phuyupatamarka and Intipata leads to the final campsite near Wiñay Wayna, arriving by 1 PM for lunch and relaxation.
In the evening, visit Wiñay Wayna ruins for a guided tour, followed by a farewell feast and ceremony with the porters and chefs. Rest early to prepare for the sunrise at Machu Picchu on Day 4.

Sun Gate - Machu Picchu - The Lost City Of The Incas

Day 4 starts at 3:30 AM with breakfast at 4:00 AM. At 5:30 AM, begin trekking to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) for stunning views of Machu Picchu, arriving by 6:30 AM. A 1-hour hike leads to the Lost City of the Incas, where you’ll enjoy a 2-hour private guided tour.
Afterward, take a bus to Aguas Calientes for free time or optional activities like climbing Huayna Picchu (pre-booked). Meet your guide for lunch (optional), collect your train tickets, and board the Expedition train at 2:55 PM or 3:20 PM to Ollantaytambo. From there, an Alpaca driver will transfer you back to your Cusco hotel.
