CUSCO - CACHORA - CHIQUISQA (L, D)

Leaving the hotel at 6:00 am then we will travel by bus to Cachora (3,100m altittude). From Cachora we will continue by bus to Capuliyoc, where we will begin our trek. Here we need to check our luggage, pack the mules, and begin the long ascent to our campsite next to Chiquisqa (lunch). The ascent is approximately 3 hours long, and on our way, we will be able to appreciate typical Andean flora and fauna (dinner). Camping in Chiquisqa.

CHIQUISCA – PLAYA ROSALINDA – SUNCHUPATS

After breakfast at 5:00 am, we will continue our trek to La Playa Rosalina (1550 m.sn.m) and Santa Rosa (2100 m.s.n.m) instead of our lunch, this journey is the most arduous , then we ascend to Maranpata (2850 masl) (Lunch), during this trip you will be able to appreciate all the way the vegetation that exists in this place then we will cross a straight section in the direction of Sunchupata, here we will have our dinner and camp; from this point it is one hour to Choquequirao.

SUNCHUPATA - CHOQUEQUIRAO - CHIQUISQA

Choquequirao Inca Citadel
Very early after breakfast we went to Choquequirao to appreciate the sunrise, we will visit the citadel for three hours always accompanied by the guide who rightly explained about this important Inca refuge and the importance of the Apurímac and Rio Blanco rivers. After the guided tour we will start the return to Sunchupata, Santa Rosa and Rosalina beach, then we will go to the town of Chiquisqa here we will camp. Camping in Chiquisqa.

CHIQUISQA - CAPULIYOC - CUSCO

After breakfast in Chiquisqa at 06:00 am we return by the same road to Capuliyoc and from here it is two hours more until the town of Cachora arriving at 12:00 pm, on the way we will appreciate the exotic flora and fauna of the place, then continue to the city of Cusco. Arriving in the afternoon at the hotel. End of our services with CrossoverPeru.
