The Saint Shenouda Coptic Orthodox Church is located in the El Dahar area of Hurghada and belongs to the Coptic Orthodox community. The church was built on 1500 m2. However, inside, the architecture is intricate and simply astounding, featured primarily on the stained-glass windows and the painted ceilings and interesting religious murals and paintings above the altar. Travellers can find a second church under the main cathedral to accommodate the overflow of worshipers attending on special holy days.

After 2 streets from the church there is the shops street, you will find lots of shops, and bazaar’s to buy a lot of items and souvenirs with very good prices and its a good time for haggling as well. The vegetable and fruit market its a must to visit its near to the El Dahar square its surrounded by a wall there is a big digital billboard telling the number of population the entrance of the market is under this billboard.You will find the sellers are very friendly and speaks different languages.
