Piazzale Martini's food street market is held weekly on Wednesday. It's mostly renowned for its fresh food and quality products. The bar where we'll have coffee is owned by Mrs. Maria and her family since 1990, and it's located on the same street as my lab and so close to the market. My lab, where we'll have lunch and a cooking lesson, is 1 minute's walk from the market.

What To Expect

We will meet at my cooking lab, which is very close (20 meters!) to one of the most typical and iconic open-air food markets in Milan (really easy to reach by train, bus, or tram). We'll start our exploration with a real Italian espresso in a typical Italian bar owned by Mrs. Maria and her family since 1990. It's located on the same street as my lab and so close to the market. Then we'll sink into the market itself, looking for genuine and fresh ingredients to prepare our dishes (fruits, vegetables, cheese, bread, pasta, etc.). At the laboratory, we'll have lunch prepared with the ingredients we bought at the market, following traditional Italian recipes under my assistance and supervision. Italian wines will be part of the experience, matching perfectly with the dishes. The experience will be both professional and relaxed. Guests will walk away with all the recipes in their pockets, so they can share the experience at home.
