Union Buildings The Union Buildings located in South Africa’s capital city Pretoria, is the official seat of the national government and the site where Nelson Mandela was inaugurated the first democratically elected president in 1994. Newtown The Chancellor House is a building that once housed the first black legal practice in the South Africa, the law firm of Nelson Mandela and Oliver Tambo, trying to help people who were accused of crimes against apartheid laws. A statue of a young Mandela as a boxer stands opposite, and is a tribute to his early beginnings in the city.

Hector Pieterson Museum and Memorial Visit the Hector Pietersen Museum; where you will get an overview of the events of the 1976 Soweto Student Uprising. The memorial was launch by Nelson Mandel in 1992 to commemorate the students who lost their lives and those part of the march.
