The Cape Winelands is probably one of the most beautiful countrysides in the world, with views of mountains, oceans and vineyards. Learn about the heritage of the Constantia Winelands on our private tour and visit the 5 wine farms which originally formed part of the The Simon van der Stel Constantia wine farm: Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting and Constantia Uitsig and Steenberg. We recommend enjoying a beautiful lunch overlooking the vineyards and pairing it with some of the best wines produced in South Africa.

Castle of Good Hope
Being one of the oldest buildings in South Africa, the Castle of Good Hope is one of the historical stalwarts that is still open to visitors. It captures the historical events that took place in the Castle dating back 350 years ago. The Key ceremony and the Canon Firing all form part of the experience. Please note: The Key Ceremony runs Monday to Friday; Cannon Firing does not take place on a Sunday; These ceremonies are weather dependent.
Inside the walls of the Castle, are amongst others, a church, bakery, living quarters, offices, cells and numerous other facilities. The yellow paint on the walls was chosen to reduce the glare from the sunlight and also because it reflects the heat.
