Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah I think you meant Itmad-ud-Daula tomb history. Here is a brief summary of what I found: Itmad-ud-Daula tomb is a Mughal mausoleum in Agra, India, built by Nur Jahan, the wife of Jahangir, for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg, who was also known as Itmad-ud-Daula (pillar of the state)12. He was a Persian noble who rose to the position of chief minister in Akbar’s court23. He was also the grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal, the wife of Shah Jahan and the inspiration for the Taj Mahal12. The tomb is often called the Baby Taj or the Jewel Box because of its resemblance to a smaller version of the Taj Mahal and its exquisite decoration with semi-precious stones124. It is considered the first Mughal structure made entirely of white marble and one of the finest examples of pietra dura inlay work23. It is also regarded as a transition between the red sandstone architecture of Akbar and the white marble architecture of Shah Jahan12.
