Valley of the Kings
Here, you will discover the Valley of the Kings, which showcases the grandeur of ancient architecture and was primarily used for burial. The valley is the final resting place for many kings, including King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah, and Amonhotep II.

Colossi of Memnon

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari
After exploring the Valley of the Kings, your tour will continue with a visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as El Dir El Bahari. This magnificent temple was constructed by Queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of Thutmosis I, who governed Egypt for around 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C.). Queen Hatshepsut is the only known female pharaoh to have ruled ancient Egypt.

Following your lunch break, your day tour will continue to the East Bank of Luxor, where you will explore the Karnak and Luxor Temples. The Karnak Temple is the most significant example of worship in ancient history, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. You will have approximately 2 hours to spend at the Karnak Temple.
