The Noon Gate (Cua Ngo Mon) Meet your tour guide at the meeting point, walk to Ngo Mon gate to get general information about the tour and function of this gate during the time of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Thai Hoa Palace Thai Hoa Palace is the next stop. This is the most important palace among the 5 palaces built on a main axis in the Hue Imperial City, used for grand court sessions and the coronation of new emperors.

Hien Lam Pavilion is one of the few remaining structures inside the Hue Citadel. Let's admire and understand more about this over 200-year-old building.

The Nine Dynastic Urns is the collective name for the 9 bronze urns cast during the reign of King Minh Mang.

The Mieu Temple The Mieu Temple was built to worship the Nguyen Dynasty kings after their death. This is one of the 5 temples inside the Hue Citadel.

Chuong Duc Gate is one of the 4 gates of the Imperial City, exclusively for women

Dien Tho Palace was for the king's mother to live in. This is a large complex surrounded by a high wall, with many different structures inside.

Truong Du Pavilion is where the king's mother would enjoy the scenery and drink tea in her free time. This building is also located within the Dien Tho Palace complex.

Hue Royal Palace The Forbidden Purple City is the name of the third enclosure within the Hue Imperial City, exclusively for the king's family, including his wives and children. Inside the Forbidden Purple City, there are many structures with different functions.

Dien Kien Trung has just been reopened after 5 years of being completely rebuilt on the old foundation.

Thai Binh Lau (Peaceful Palace) was where the king would read books and enjoy the scenery. It is an extremely beautiful structure.

Thieu Phuong Garden, also known as the Royal Garden, has been restored with extremely eye-catching scenery. It was a place for the king and his family to stroll and enjoy the scenery.

Hien Nhon Gate was for civil and military mandarins to enter the Imperial City to work with the king. This is also where we end the 2.5-hour walking tour inside the Imperial City.
