Zermatt
During your time in Zermatt Village, your guide will escort you from the train station and throughout the village, unveiling the history of the buildings and the village’s past. The chapel’s steeple adds to the small and charming village feel, and you’ll be completely and utterly charmed throughout your exploration. Running through Zermatt is the pure and ice-cold river Matta Vispa, which provides an atmospheric trickling water sound.
During your tour, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a local raclette or fondue lunch, immersing yourself in Swiss culture by indulging in a heartwarming local delicacy. Seize plenty of opportunities to take photographs, like in front of the monument to the mountain guides. The air will be crisp and thin, and the atmosphere is perfect to go wandering off, taking in the beauty of the place, and getting lost in wistful thought.

Matterhorn Glacier Paradise
Embark on an awe-inspiring journey to the summit of Europe’s highest mountain station, the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Traverse the stunning landscapes of Zermatt, catching breathtaking glimpses of the Monta Rosa region. Ascend a remarkable 8,883 meters on the Matterhorn Glacier Ride. Spend time on the viewing platform to take in a 360-degree panoramic spectacle of the 38 Alpine giants and 14 glaciers in three countries. Delve into the Matterhorn’s rich history with stories of Romans and Romanised Celtic populations of 100–400 BCE traveling through The Theodul Pass. Touch on the construction of 19th-century mountainous railways. Absorb extraordinary views around the Matterhorn’s unique pyramid-like structure and learn about areas it overlooks, including the Ober Gabelhorn.
