Piazza Navona Piazza Navona is one of the most famous squares in Rome, built by the Pamphili family. Its shape is that of an ancient stadium: it was built in monumental style at the behest of Pope Innocent X.

Stadio di Domiziano - Navona Square Underground We will visit the remains of the Domitian Stadium (Unesco heritage) which are located under Piazza Navona about 4.50 meters above street level; the archaeological area is what remains of the first and only example of a masonry stadium known to date in Rome.

Pantheon The Pantheon is a building from ancient Rome located in the Pigna district in the historic center, built as a temple dedicated to all past, present and future divinities. It was founded in 27 BC. by Arpinate Marco Vipsanio Agrippa, son-in-law of Augustus.

Vicus Caprarius – the City of Water A few steps from the Trevi Fountain, over nine meters below today’s street level, the archaeological surveys carried out between 1999 and 2001 during the renovation of a cinema brought to light a large ancient residential complex. The term “City of Water”, commonly used to define the archaeological area of ​​Vicus Caprarius, is however due to the element that undoubtedly characterizes the site the most. In the 2nd century AD, a large water reservoir was built in a part of the building complex, probably used until the 6th century AD
