Jama Masjid The first place you'll visit is called Jama Masjid, which is the biggest mosque in India. You can take a walk in its courtyard made of red sandstone. It was constructed in the year 1656, and around 5000 workers helped build it. This mosque is located right in front of the fancy 'Red Fort' where the royals used to live. It's in the middle of a place called Chandni Chowk.

Duration:  60 minutes

3
Pasar Chandni Chowk After your visit to Jama Masjid, you will hop on a rickshaw to explore Chandni Chowk market. Here, you can enjoy a place called Cham Cham Gali, known for shopping for weddings. There's also Parathe Vali Gali, famous for delicious street food, and a spice market. You'll also have the opportunity to see people shopping in their own unique local way.

Duration:  30 minutes

4
Red Fort The Red Fort is a really big building. Shah Jahan built it from 1639 to 1648. It was where the important Mughal emperors lived. The way it's built shows both Indian-Islamic and Mughal styles. And guess what? It has a super long wall that's 2 kilometers! That's really impressive!
5
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, where you'll not only explore the spiritual significance and history of this place but also visit its Langar kitchen. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you through the gurudwara, sharing insights about its cultural and religious importance. Experience the heartwarming Langar tradition, where everyone is welcome to share a free meal, and learn about the principles of community service and equality in Sikhism.

Duration:  60 minutes

6
India Gate This big, tall monument looks like a huge arch and is made of stone. A famous architect named Lutyens designed it in 1921. It's a tribute to about 90,000 Indian Army soldiers who passed away in World War I, the Northwest Frontier operations, and the 1919 Anglo-Afghan War. It's a way of saying thank you and remembering these brave people.
7
Rashtrapati Bhavan The President's House is sometimes called Rashtrapati Bhavan. It's a grand building with long hallways, lots of rooms (340 of them!), a special round Durbar Hall, a cool library for the president, and a really interesting Ashoka Hall. Around the President's House, there are also many other fancy places that are worth seeing.
8
Parliament House In the big city of India's capital, there's a really interesting place called Parliament House or Sansad Bhavan. It's a special spot. Back in 1947, this building was where Britain gave India its freedom. People can't go inside to see it, though.
9
Humayun's Tomb This place is really important and even UNESCO thinks so. It's the first Garden Tomb of India. A long time ago, Humayun's wife wanted to build this special tomb for him after he passed away.

Duration:  60 minutes

10
Lotus Temple Known as the Bahai House of Worship, this peaceful place to pray looks like a beautiful lotus flower. It was made in 1986 by a clever architect named Fariborz Sahba. The idea was to make a place where people from different beliefs could come together. You can go inside the temple to pray or sit quietly and meditate if you want.

Duration:  30 minutes

11
Swaminarayan Akshardham This is a really big Hindu temple. Even though they built it in 2005, it looks like it's been here for a very long time, maybe even a thousand years, because of the way it's built.

Duration:  60 minutes

12
Qutub Minar You can't miss this super tall tower that looks like the ones in Afghanistan. A long time ago, a ruler named Sultan Qutb-ud-din wanted to show he was in charge, so he built this really high tower. It has five parts and special balconies that stick out. On the tower, there are designs made of sandstone with words from the holy Quran book.
